Earlier this month I posted Michelle Manhart’s Playboy set because it was briefly newsworthy and she’s so terribly average looking my ‘can I get into Playboy Sam? I’m a little chunky but I swear I’m going to lose it’ email’s going to skyrocket and I needed to let you guys know, she’s not Playboy material so don’t kid yourselves.

You’re right about the attractiveness factor in Playboy, Sam, but the caveat that she’s an Air Force sarge or whatever makes her more… ummmm… interesting and magazine-worthy. What we’re seeing here is a case of subject matter (Air Force sarge getting nekkid) selling the subject (nekkidness). Consider it like this: The fact that she’s who she is makes her far more attractive than she actually is, due to the fact she’s interesting and not your average, everyday Playboy model. You know, like ugly guys that have a ton of money or something.
Chris – You’re right but damn she’s ordinary. Surely the US military could do better. Have you seen some of the Israeli combat forces? I’d stand in front of their tanks any any of the week. Seriously, some of them are so hot I don’t see how you could prevent yourself from rushing their checkpoints if you catch my drift.
